Hrebienok is located in the elevation of 1285 meters. It is a well known tourist centre to south-east from Slavkovsky stit, right above Stary Smokovec.
Hrabienok is known mostly for its coasting path, which begins at Hrebienok and finish in Smokovec. The path has electrical illumination since 1959. Hebienok has been much-sought area since the middle of 19th century mainly by visitors of Stary Smokovec spa. After 1930 first ski-lifts and ski-courses has been built.
